Thank you so much to Ellen Hutchinson and her staff at Tulliver's Pet Food Emporium for hosting Kindred Spirits outreach table in the store on May 15th, 2010. Thank you also to the many new and old friends who stopped by to visit with ambassadors Sammy and Juliana and learn about our work at Kindred Spirits. It was a great success. And thank you for donating 10% of Tullivers' profit on that day. It is a great help in maintaining our care.
May, 2010. Our Spring Open House and collective birthday party for the animals was a great success.Some people visited both days, both to hear our talks on Wellness Care and also to not miss out on the silent auction! Generous area artists had donated many one of a kind creations of great value. Thank you to all the animal lovers in our community who continue to support us in so many ways. And, warm thank yous to our volunteers. We couldn't do it without you!
Sadly, several of our long time residents were going towards the end of their time with us, and many visitors had an opportunity to see end of life care in practice. Both Nautica and Esther Marie were called to their Spirit Home and went over the Rainbow Bridge peacefully shortly thereafter. Both of them have contributed so much to our sanctuary and what it has come to be. And, while their bodies were worn out we know that they will be with us in spirit.
We all miss them so much and thank them for being part of our Kindred Spirits Family.

On Saturday March 27th, 2010 Kindred Spirits were honored to be present at the Opening event of a new tack store Barndogswww.barndogs.net at La Tienda in Eldorado. We had a great day with many visitors stopping by for a cuddle with our happy ambassadors Esther Marie, Juliana, and Sammy while learning about the needs of senior animals. A warm thank you to Holly Ourisman owner of Barndogs for including our seniors on the special day.
